We are pleased to announce that our first workshop hosted by our renowned artist Nina Vukčević will take place at our coworking space on March 1st!

The concept of this workshop is for people to come and enjoy their free time while learning something new! All the art supplies will be provided along with wine. After the workshop, you’ll bring home fun memories and a work of art – made by You!

There’s no need for prior experience, as you will be guided every step of the way. Most importantly, you’ll be sipping wine while doing so!

We announce that Shipyard Coworking is transitioning to a self-service model over the winter! This change will allow for greater flexibility and convenience for all our members.

What Does This Mean for You?

• Drop-In Members: If you are on a drop-in plan, please contact us via WhatsApp or Viber at least one day in advance to arrange your visit.
• New Customers: To get started, contact us via WhatsApp or Viber for remote assistance with signing up. The sign-up process includes selecting a plan and purchasing one or more day passes. Please make sure to remember the username and password you use during the sign-up process. These credentials are important, as you will use them to access the Wi-Fi at our space.

We appreciate your understanding as we make this transition and are here to help with any questions or support you may need.

Shipyard Coworking Tivat is announcing a partnership with Amar Yoga Studio, owned by the yoga instructor Vesna Kujovic, to bring rejuvenating yoga classes to our space!

 Yoga Classes at Shipyard Coworking 

 When: Every Monday and Wednesday 
 Time: 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM

During yoga sessions, the coworking space will be transformed into a serene sanctuary for relaxation and self-care. Therefore, coworking activities will be paused during class time from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm as we need time to move chairs and tables around.

How to Join: Everybody interested in attending are welcome to apply! Due to space limitations, we can accommodate a maximum of 9 participants per session. Please contact Vesna via WhatsApp at +381 66 9054656 to reserve your spot.

Post-Yoga Work Option: For those who wish to continue working after the class, Shipyard Coworking is happy to accommodate your personal needs. You’re welcome to stay longer and make the most of your productive hours. Please contact our office manager to arrange everything.

We have a number of coworkers visiting our premises from time to time. There are a few things you should know before you arrive so you don’t waste your time setting up everything you have to.

We are using 3 systems that communicate in the background and they control your access to the door and Wi-Fi. Our working time is from 8:00 to 23:00 but our office manager’s working time is from 8:00 to 15:00. If you like to work in the afternoon, you will need to follow the next steps to do it on your own.

The first time, you have to create an account with us here https://shipyard-coworking.cobot.me by selecting “Visiting friend” plan or directly by following this link https://shipyard-coworking.cobot.me/membership_signup/new?plan_id=95feb59d8be703be13c9ddeb12c3f6b1

With this plan, there is no monthly fee and your number of free time passes is 0 which means that you should buy at least one time pass after our office manager confirms your account. Not only the first time but every time you use all your available passes, the new one should be bought.

You can do that after you log in to your Cobot account.

Having at least one time pass, gives you access to the lock at the entrance door powered by SaltkoKS and wi-fi powered by Iron Wifi (using Radius protocol).

After you purchase a time pass, our office manager will connect your Cobot account with SaltoKS and you will receive an invitation email for creating an account with SaltKS. After you successfully create an account you next step is to download the application for your phone while our office manager will assign you a digital key which will be downloaded to your app on your phone. With application on your phone and digital key in the application, you can proceed to the entrance door.

At the entrance door, activate the SaltoKS application that will use RFID communication with the lock and allow you to enter. Just keep your phone for a few seconds very close to the lock and wait for one short and one long green light. If the lock does not open, try once more, please.

When the lock opens, you have plenty of time to put your phone safely into your pocket first, turn the lock to the left with one hand (entering to the left, when you exit to the right), and with your other hand just push the door.

Once when you are in, find the Shipyard Wifi and use your username and password created with Cobot to log in. Please keep in mind that Iron Wifi will send you a certificate for encrypted communication. While Apple phones are handling certificates automatically, newer Android users may be prompted to enter a domain before accessing the WiFi network. This domain needs to be “ironwifi.com“.

With at least one time pass available, SaltoKS on your phone and after you log in once to Wifi, you should be all set for your day’s work.

Please keep in mind every time when you use all your passes, first, you need to buy a new one.

Starting next month (June 1st, 2023), we will be extending our operating hours from 8 am to 11 pm, Monday to Saturday. This exciting update reflects our commitment to providing an even more accessible and accommodating space for our vibrant community. 

At our coworking space, we understand that creativity doesn’t adhere to a strict 9-to-5 schedule. Some professionals thrive in the early morning, while others find their inspiration in the evening. By extending our working hours, we aim to cater to the diverse preferences and working styles of our members. This flexibility allows individuals to align their work hours with their peak productivity, resulting in enhanced output and satisfaction.

Modern professionals often lead multifaceted lives that demand juggling personal commitments alongside their careers. By expanding our working hours, we acknowledge the need for adaptable schedules that support individuals’ work-life integration. Whether you’re an early riser who prefers to start the day with a burst of productivity or a night owl who finds solace in the quiet hours of the evening, our coworking space will be available to accommodate your needs.

Whether you’re an early bird, a night owl, or somewhere in between, our doors will be open to fuel your inspiration and support your journey. Join us as we embrace this new chapter and redefine the concept of flexible working.

We are happy to announce that Shipyard coworking is opening the doors in beta mode for 10 tenants who will have the opportunity to shape up this space. We will use next week to set up a few more things so you can enjoy working in a cozy setup.

We plan to finish setting up a small meeting room ‘Dry dock C’ with up to 4 seats. An interactive projector is in place and will be part of open space at the moment.

You can book a tour if you want to visit premises or you can apply for membership. At the moment, we will accept Subcontractor and Full-time applications only as we are in the testing phase and we would like to work with tenants who plan to stay longer with us. For the first two months, our working time will be from 8 am to 8 pm while 24h access will be available when we see that everything is working smoothly.

Once we receive your application, it will be confirmed and you will receive instructions for SaltoKS application installation which will give you access to the space. Please check the following blog post for more detailed instructions on Cobot, Salto & IronWifi.

As we already mentioned in our intro post, we are using Cobot.Me as coworking management software but also SaltoKS for digital access. Both softwares are cloud based and they speak with each other. It is very important to remember that SaltoKS will give you access only if you have available daily passes. Cobot and SaltoKS talks in real time and they know how to handle your time with Shipyard.

After you create an account by selecting plan you will be granted with number of Daily Passes that are included into your plan. Let say you have selected Full-time plan which has 20 Daily Passes included. IT means you can enter 20 days into premises. During one day, you can enter and exit as much times as you want.

After you have created your account with Cobot.Me, you will receive and email with instructions to download and install SaltoKS mobile app. Please use the same username and password as you have with Cobot.Me. As soon as you install and log into SaltoKS, you will receive digital tag that will allow you to open the doors. When you reach to the door, just activate your digital key and put your phone on the lock. When it blink green, just rotate and open the door. The same applies for exiting the premises.

The last but not least is wifi. We are using Cobot.Me integration with IronWifi Radius. Name of wifi is Shipyard and it will ask you to enter username and password. Again, it is your username and password from Cobot.Me. Pay attention is you are Android user that you will have to enter Domain. This domain needs to be “ironwifi.com. Your device will probably alert you about certificate, please accept it as it is of essence that you trust IronWifi certificate. It is used for your safe connection with our wifi router.
